Fellowship trained spine surgeon Dr. Irvin Sahni grew up in West Houston. After completing high school at the top of his class at James E. Taylor High School, he attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. At Baylor, he completed a degree in chemistry, conducted undergraduate scientific research, and published two articles in organic chemistry.
