From the time he was pushing a broom and changing flats in his father Bob's newly-opened Birmingham, Alabama bike shop in 1973, 9-year-old Roger Byrd's fate was sealed. Though not a cyclist at the time, Bob and his family grew Bob's bike shop - aptly named Bob's Bikes, and with it grew their passion for cycling.
