Is ESPN.go.com superior to other sport sites?

When I want to get my sports news, I hit up ESPN.go.com. Not only do you get up to date reports and breaking news stories, but you can also read feature pieces and find out interesting facts about your favorite teams.

For example, when I visited the site this morning there was an entire section dedicated to the NBA draft. Visitors could watch the event online take a look at video commentary, read opinion pieces and more. The front page also covers the latest headlines with articles and video. This week has been amazing week for athletes and sports fans. American John Isner beat Nicolas Mahut in the longest Wimbledon match in history, spanning over three days. ESPN covered the event, and posted video of the match for those who missed it.

The World Cup has many Americans glued to their TV screens, but for those who work during the week, ESPN provided a ton of coverage of the event. The US team had an amazing victory over Algeria, with Landon Donovan scoring thewinning goal in the 91st minute of the game. Those who missed this history making match can catch the recap on ESPN.go.com.

I definitely suggest ESPN.go.com to any sports fan. Downloads are quick and filmed in HD, articles are written by experts in the field, feature pieces are heartfelt, and they leave nothing out.
