Michael Sweetland joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in January 2018. He previously worked for 22 years as The Manager of Financial Services at Prudential PRUCO Securities in Southern California. A graduate of California State University at Fullerton with a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry with a Mathematics Minor, Michael holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in CA and AZ. Understanding that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is their own behavior, Michael serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He advocates time-tested financial principles, including disciplined, long-term saving and investing, careful debt management, and a thoughtful insurance strategy to manage financial risk. Michael will work with you to establish specific, meaningful goals that are consistent with your values and then develop a personalized financial plan to guide your pursuit of those goals. Active in his community, Michael is a member of Club and Youth Soccer Organizations and a previous Rancho Cucamonga Park and Recreations Commission Vice-Chair.
