North Florida Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Jacksonville, Florida, is a leading provider of opioid addiction treatment services for adults age 18 and older of all genders. At North Florida CTC, adults can receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is a whole-person approach to opioid addiction treatment that combines medication and counseling. Patients receive a prescription for a medication such as buprenorphine or methadone, which can alleviate the intense cravings and symptoms associated with opioid withdrawal. They may also take part in individual and group counseling to help them make the behavioral and lifestyle changes needed to support lifelong recovery.
