Amanda Gibson, NP-C, is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. "I'm from a family of nurses -- grandmother, mother, aunt, and cousins. At a young age, I had a passion for caring for others, especially my great-grandpa who needed a lot of assistance because he was blind and deaf.
