Fall River Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Fall River, Massachusetts, offers opioid use disorder care in the form of medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Adults age 18 and older can participate in MAT if they are struggling with an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. Medication-assisted treatment at Fall River CTC involves a prescription for methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone. Each adult's care team determines which medication and dosage are best for them. Counseling, including group and individual therapy sessions, is also a major part of every care plan. This therapeutic component helps adults process and address behavioral health concerns that relate to opioid use disorder.
