Mitchell Wachtel, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Wachtel has treated a broad variety of foot disorders, including bunions, hammer toe, heel pain, Achilles tendon injury, ankle sprains, ingrown toenails and fungal nails, and diabetic neuropathy. Dr. Wachtel received his undergraduate education at Stonybrook University in Long Island, New York. He then went on to pursue his graduate studies at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduation, he trained with Dr. Edward Hurwitz at Boston City Hospital. Dr. Wachtel went into private practice in 1992. Dr. Wachtel and his caring staff believe that patients deserve quality treatment when it comes to their foot concerns. At the office, they provide a number of conservative treatments for foot injuries. They also have a physical therapist on-site to help patients find the relief they need. His practice has an emphasis on sports medicine.
