The front landscape was wrecked by pipe installation, the steps were falling down, it was time to find a new solution for the front of the house.

By moving the steps to the side, the view to the front was impeded (and better to see the redbud in bloom) and the traffic pattern in the porch improved.

A pipeline excavation made an opportunity to rethink the front landscaping.

The plantings at the sidewalk make an edge with interest in all seasons, creating a sweep of lawn that leads your eye through the front garden.
