This historic, brick, multi-story, nineteenth-century building was once operated by the Advance-Rumely Thresher Company, giving the building its unique name. Its original tin ceiling, wood floor, exposed columns, and antique fixtures reflects an authentic, timeless look. Located in the heart of the West Bottoms District and the Kansas City metro, the space fittingly appeals to those wanting something different than the typical ho hum hotel space. The Rumely Historic Event Space has approximately 6,500 sq ft of interior space with a 350-plus seated dinner capacity. It features a secluded bridal chamber and groom suite - both with private bathrooms. Guests will be delighted by the massive, chandelier-lit freight elevator option to the second-floor space.
