His appreciation of the local community and desire to continually make our valley better is shown through his work with several local non-profit organizations. He is the past interim executive director and current board president for the Glacier Institute, and has worked with the Samaritan House homeless shelter, North Valley Hospital Foundation, Glacier AERO and the Lakeside Somers Chamber of Commerce just to name a few. His service on the board of directors of these organizations has allowed him to make many genuine and personal, connections throughout the entire valley.
