My introduction into the field of social work was serendipitous. I was initially drawn to the advocacy and social justice piece which still resonates in my work today; however, I have experienced an evolution of love for the field as my career and ventures have changed. I believe that every person is deserving of quality, ethical, person-centered, and comprehensive care and strive to cultivate a space of safety and security for individuals to explore their own unique and individualized goals. I am committed to using an eclectic range of evidence-based practices and interventions to support individuals on their journey to find harmony and balance within their life. I believe that I continue to be a unique clinician in that I still enjoy all aspects of learning/growth/and clinical development which allows my areas of special interest to remain broad. I have spent a multitude of years working with adolescent youth across several levels of clinical care and therefore continue to remain eager about broadening this to all developmental stages. I am particularly interested in ongoing exploration of the impacts of COVID-19 within our field. When I am not at work, I love to travel, experience new foods, read, binge watch a few good shows, hike, and spend time with family, friends and pets.
