I received my BSW degree from the University of Georgia. Then I attended Valdosta State University, where I completed the MSW program. I first became licensed as an LMSW by the Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists. More recently, I have also been licensed as an LCSW by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and LIcensure Board. I have received additional training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment T
