J.McLaughlin is located in a rustic brick building on Broad Street, right in the small, walkable downtown area of Southern Pines. Outside of our store, you'll see a charming little courtyard with benches and pops of greenery for relaxing after your shopping trip. There are plenty of casual eateries to enjoy for breakfast and lunch nearby-you can't go wrong with a sandwich from Sweet Basil Cafe or a homemade waffle at Betsy's Crepes. Besides boutique shops and restaurants, be sure to absorb the history and culture of Southern Pines Just a brisk walk away from J.McLaughlin, you can visit The Boyd House, or Weymouth, a historic home that was built by novelist James Boyd after World War I. And while you're near Southern Pines, be sure to take a swing in Pinehurst, which is known for its world-famous golf courses and resort.
