Years of experience contributed to the establishment of Aries Heating and Cooling Corporation. There is nothing much to account if not to his years of previous man - to man and single operations on services, repairs, installations, and trouble shooting of small projects on every customers such as friends, neighbors and referrals, either big or small, local, nearby or distant places, just to learn the basics and fundamentals of Heating, refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Not to excludes his Federal Employment as an HVAC Technician at the US Military Ocean Terminals in Bayonne, New Jersey for several years. As the saying goes, experience is continuing education, accompanied by technical educational background in higher institutions. The founder, Joel E. Contreras, Sr. a Naturalized US Citizen, with Master Degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Camden University, USA in 2005 and 2007, came to this country from the Philippines in 1978 with his Undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering, from Feati University and Mechanical Engineering from Adamson University in 1968 and 1975 respectively. After a successful career as a Senior Meteorologist from the Philippines, Weather Bureau, and taught Engineering courses in different universities, backed then, he decided to immigrate to the United States and worked in different engineering firms. He attended various service trainings and seminars, and accreditations to learned more of the HVAC trades and awarded different certifications, such as EPA Universal Technician; R410A; Wards Plex; Gastite; Manitowoc; Uponor Logic for Plumbing Certified Technicians Sanyo Technician Certification, Fuj itsu Halcyon, American Standard 80% and 90% Furnace Training Service Seminar, and many more, and Licensure to be an HVACR Licensed Contractor in the State of New Jersey, of the Division of Consumer Affairs. His other disciplines includes NYCFD G95 Type Flammable GAsCUT/Weld and Stand Sprinkler City Mains. Mr. Joel E. Contreras Sr. is an active HVACR Contractor for almost 25 years now both doing Residential, Commercial and Industrial, in private, public, and Federal Government for the GSA, FBI Projects in Broadway, New York and Brooklyn Federal Courthouse, New York. He has affiliations, and membership in the past and present such as Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of automotive Engineers, Society of Notaries, and many more.
