Dr. Marie Brunelli grew up in Long Beach, New York. She received her Bachelor of Science and masters in Biomedical Engineering at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint George's University in 2014. She completed a residency in Pediatrics at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in 2017 followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2020. Dr. Brunelli remained on staff there until January 2023 where she had a faculty appointment at the medical school and served as core faculty at the Adolescent Health Center and school-based health program. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Brunelli is committed to ensuring all adolescents receive high quality and equitable care. Her clinical experience includes sexual and reproductive health, menstrual disorder management, care of high-risk and underserved youth, sports medicine, transgender care, school-based health, HIV prevention and treatment, and adolescent primary care. She looks forward to working with the team at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist to provide comprehensive care and implement an environment that is respectful and inclusive for all patients in the community.
