J.McLaughlin's Millbrook store is located on Franklin Avenue at The Village near Babette's Cafe and the Millbrook Antique Center. Millbrook is a year-round destination, making it a favorite among NYC locals who prefer a second-home or hotel staycation outside of the city. Riding horses, shooting, and golfing are all major hobbies the town offers in addition to those simply seeking total relaxation. The community events, weekend concerts, and art shows always draw a large gathering from locals and tourists alike. This region is known as "horse country," and there are plentiful farmlands and vistas for all to see. This small, close-knit community is also known for its fabulous food.
