Erich A. Hinel O.D., M.S., FAAO, is a member of the cornea, glaucoma, and uveitis teams at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. As an optometrist, he sees patients at the University Medical Arts Building in Clifton and at the main office in Blue Ash. Dr. Hinel joined CEI with a practice focused on the medical and pre- and post-surgical management of cornea, glaucoma, and uveitis disorders. Dr. Hinel has been an investigator and consultant for several ongoing clinical trials, and he regularly lectures at regional and national optometric conferences. He is the assistant residency director for the optometric ocular disease residency at CEI.
