Joel Beer first opened his shop in 1970. It was a family owned and run business under the name of Beer's Workshop and was located on Dale Avenue in Shelby, OH. Then, in 1972 the business became Beer and Gates and 3 years later, Joel sold his part of the auto repair business and began working for RG Beer Construction as their mechanic.

We do everything from oil changes and alignments, to transmission and engine repair on any domestic and foreign car or truck. They also stay up to date with classroom and online training. Our auto repair shop offers a 36 month/36,000 mile warranty on parts and labor, courtesy of Technet. Last but not least, the BG services we offer are backed by their respective lifetime warranties. While our technicians are working on your vehicle, you can spend some quality time in our comfortable waiting area. We have free coffee, water and Wi-Fi, that will make your stay even more pleasant. We also provide our customers with free loaner cars and a complimentary shuttle service, in case your vehicle needs to stay at our auto repair shop for more than a day.
