Dr. Miles takes pride in educating patients and making medical decisions that best fit them as an individual. Dr. Miles believes that certain conditions, such as hot flashes or heavy periods, shouldn't be brushed aside because they are normal events in a woman's life. She specializes in treating these conditions, among others, so that women can live life to their best potential. Dr. Miles is also an award winning surgeon, receiving the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists' "Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology" award, and specializes in minimally invasive procedures to treat many common problems, including: heavy or painful periods, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, prolapse, and pelvic pain. Dr. Miles also prescribes a variety of contraceptives, including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and the Nexplanon.
