Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), which is located in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid use disorder. This might include an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. Dunmore CTC offers prescriptions for buprenorphine, methadone, naltrexone, and Suboxone to help reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms associated with stopping opioid use. In addition to medication, MAT involves therapy in the form of individual and group sessions where adults can share their concerns and learn healthy coping strategies and relapse prevention skills.
