Our recommendation would be to opt for the 2022 Lexus LS Luxury Sedan Luxury variant, which is expensive but well worth it, adding heated, cooled, and leather-upholstered front and rear seats that have 28-way power adjustments and a massage function; rear bucket seats; a rear center console with touchscreen controls for navigation, audio, and seats; four-zone emergency climate control; and power sunshades. There are a number of optional features such as adjustable air suspension, 20-inch wheels, a 360-degree camera system, and oak interior trim, as well as a heated steering wheel trimmed in wood and leather. There is a $17,000 price increase per year for the LS500, but it's still cheaper than the basic Mercedes-Benz S-class model.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

With 416 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 engine, the LS delivers silky-smooth performance. If you drive heavily, it sounds refined and powerful; however, if you cruise, it sounds quiet. Gear changes are handled by an automatic 10-speed transmission. This car's performance is more than sufficient, but BMW 7-series and Mercedes-Benz S-class varieties of 7-series and S-class proved quicker. An LS500h will produce 354 horsepower thanks to a 3.5-liter V-6 engine and two electric motors. Despite its particular style, it has a high-end, high-quality cabin, plenty of premium features, and a great deal of value in this prestigious segment.
