Sue Adams is a Family Nurse Practitioner who joins MUSC after a recent move from NY to be closer to family. Sue has 30 years of nursing experience and has worked as a Nurse Practitioner for 25 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, and a Bachelor of Science and Master's Degree in Nursing from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY. Sue's career has focused on caring for children and families in inpatient and community settings. Her early career was spent in Pediatric Intensive Care and Adult and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center, and Neonatal Intensive Care at Jacobi Medical Center in NY. More recently, Sue served as the Director of Health Services in both public and private schools in Westchester County, NY. She provided First Aid, CPR, and Concussion Management Training to school staff and coaches. Sue is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has served as a member of the Council on Citizens with Disabilities, Parish Council, and Co-Chair of the Special Education PTA in Scarsdale, NY.
