I received my BS in nutrition and dietetics in 1986 from West Virginia University. I graduated Shenandoah University in 1993 with my Associates Degree in nursing. Later I went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University in 2013. I am board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner as well as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
