Dr. Smith has a special interest in breast cancer, breast cancer risk management and preventive surgery. He has made that the exclusive focus of his surgical practice since 2009. Dr. Smith leads The Polyclinic Hereditary Cancer Risk Clinic. Dr. Smith is married to a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. They have two children. Having run cross-country and track at Duke University, he continues to enjoy running and fitness, as well as spending time with his family.
