Spokane Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), which is located in Spokane, Washington, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid use disorder. MAT combines the use of medication and counseling to help adults work toward recovery from an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. MAT at Spokane CTC involves a prescription for methadone, Suboxone, or buprenorphine. These medications are safe and effective in improving patient outcomes by reducing cravings and other physical symptoms of withdrawal. Adults who receive MAT at Spokane CTC also benefit from individual and group counseling sessions.
